Free Downloadable IT Toolkit

NIFHA have been working in partnership with Linking Generations NI, Ignite IT, Zenith, the Learning & Work Institute and Go On NI as part of the Digital Age Project.
"The Digital Age Project is an initiative that focuses on the promotion of digital inclusion, particularly with older people in sheltered accommodation.
By getting older people online, the project hopes to open up a new world of information, whilst enabling communication, access to services and keeping in touch with others.
Participants who have taken part in the project so far have highlighted the benefits of being able to keep in touch with family and friends through email and Skype, shop for the best deals online and pursue hobbies and interests." ( www.digital-age.org.uk/about-digital-age-northern-ireland )
As a result of this project a free downloadable IT toolkit has been designed to help get people online, it also provides help to those supporting people to get online.
